What else has happened...

In August 2017 the BSV-Bern (Authors of Canton Berne) launched their new anthology. Since then, a few of the authors represented in it have begun touring with readings from their stories. On Tuesday, 6 March, I was able to participate in such a reading.

The library of Langnau is absolutely fantastic. Just like the welcome we received. The topic of the evening was "Literary and Culinary Titbits". The organising crew went to their utmost to create a matching delicacy for each of the six authors. There were, for example, "Finger Eyes", "Sausages in Morning Gown" or "Father's Blood".

The choice of texts was a colourful romp through Bernese Literature. Dystopia, word acrobatics, spoken word, poetry and crime – there was something for everybody. It was a huge honour for me to be reading alongside names such as Adelheid Blättler, Yvonn Scherrer, Hans Jürg Zingg, Walter Däpp and Gabriel Anwander.

You'll be able to see and hear us again in very much the same configuration, by the way, on 26 May on the Literature Ship on Lake Biel. This way to the booking.
