What else has happened...

On Friday evening, the book launch of Mitra Devi's newest Nora Tabani Crime Novel "Der Blutsfeind" (The Blood Enemy) took place at the Orell Füssli bookshop "Kramhof" in Zurich. The event was combined with the première of Bea Huwiler's documentary "Crime".

First, Mitra (picture) read the beginning of her novel. In her 5th case, Nora Tabani gets involved in a bank robbery, and her father's murderer is finally brought to justice.

After that, Mona Vetsch chaired a talk with the two artists.

In the documentary "Crime", Bea Huwiler depicts the course of "Der Blutsfeind" from the first idea to the finished product stacked in bookshops. What sounds like a long-winded topic is presented in light bites. Short witing sequences interact with (sometimes surprisingly rural) views of Zurich and drama scenes. Together with the author, we also visit an arms trader, the public liaisons officer of Zurich police and a forensic medical examiner.

The film is underlined with music by Levin Deger, who also enchanted the guests at the launch/première with his E-guitar.

A sumptuous wine reception rounded off an unforgettable evening.
